I already cited the source. Alex can drive his butt 62 miles to see it firsthand. If he actually socialized with key deaf people in Indiana he wouldn't have even thought about asking for sources.
Plus lanapoo jumping in. Comical.
Where?

where?
And why does it matter that I don't socialize with "key deaf people" in Indiana?
Pulling the old "not deaf enough" pinch I see, eh?
And how many schools where it doesn't work? I think the number is going to be a lot more than three. But again, the reason has little to do with ASL.
BTW, at CSDF, the percentage of students who pass the high school exit exam is 50%. Lots of room for improvement.
"not deaf enough"?
more like - not experienced enough. It's getting quite tiring for you to keep coming up with that sad card whenever your stance on deaf issue is challenged.

I will have to take Alex's side on this one. He is experienced and I know it firsthand. He knows a lot more about the deaf culture than you do, but you constantly challenge him so THAT gets tiring. Alex's better at ASL, goes to deaf events far more often than you do. He has studied the culture and written about it for at least a decade.
You jealous?
the asking for source spoke volumes though.

Telling someone to drive to ISD to get a source or using yourself as a source isn't good enough. That was a rather interesting tidbit of information and I'd like to see if you're telling the truth.
I'm being realistic.
are you saying that I should not question it? I should take it with blind obedience?
and are you saying I'm not deaf enough?

Correct.
It's okay to challenge someone's opinion, but it's not okay to force your opinion upon us.

If you were actually educated, you would know that *I* am not a source. I pointed it out, you have the freedom to go and look at it. Not everything is available online.
Can you please explain to me why the state of Indiana is currently suppressing the Superintendent of ISD's FOIA rights to gather information to compare the deaf students in 1,500 schools throughout the state vs ISD to see how many students pass the state exams?
The last time he was able to do that he was able to prove ISD beat the mainstream out on amount of students percent wise passing the state test.
Just curious - did you also research that?
Why would I have researched that?
Sources?
Don't believe me?
For good reasons.
Got sources?
In reference to my first post. Get a clue.
And your point is?

Hence I brought my post out about ISD..... I love this.

How many CSD students graduate with diplomas?
According to the California Department of Education, only 8% of all deaf and hard of hearing students in the state of California pass California High School Exit Exam while 50% of students at the California School for the Deaf pass HSEE. Furthermore, students who attended the Early Childhood Education have 90% to 100% chance of passing HSEE.
You're a joke. You and your sidekick are the one turning this into an issue of not being deaf enough. And if you want to walk down that path, we can do it. Sure.
Would you like to go there? Really? Would you? choose carefully.
for proving my point.
