ambit energy- 3rd party supplier

Has anyone switched to this 3rd party supplier as their energy choice??

It look like they are doing a very hard push to get lots of people switched over with them. They want to offer you free vacation package if you switched over, they want to give you free electric if you can get 15 friends referred over. They say no obligation, no hassle, blah blah blah. The deaf salesperson is located in florida, but wants me as a customer in NYS.

they are only 3 years old, and now doing a large push to get lots of customers.

Now - would you do it? they told me repeatedly that is not a scam, they are legimate, and want me to be happy?

Now- how in the world did THEY get my vp number?! Now before we jump to conclusions here, I am very private and careful.Let me add another peice of info- A freind of mine i used to work with, sent me emails several times suggested I check out ambit energy but never called me and now the salesperson higher up in chain I assume calls me to explain themselves. Now I am not saying my coworker gave them my number, but it got me thinking now....

First thing, How can they afford free vacations for EVERYONE who switches over? NO self respecting company wants to lose that much profit money. Would they really willing to give you free electric JUST for referring 15 people but what else do they charge as fees etc? Why isnt OTHER 3rd party energy supplier try the same tactics?!

They could be a scam, they may not be and really real. WHO KNOWS? They just came onto the market, and nothing is proven yet.

I wouldn't go for it. Especially if I've never heard of that company. I've never seen any advertisement for that company. So I wouldn't trust them. I have a feeling that it is a scam. But it's up to you.

Ambit Energy

Yes I have. I live in Dallas, TX. There is Ambit Energy headquarter there. The company is not pushing hard, its just that so many people wanting cheap electric. It has been advertising in T.V. There is no other companies that have program like this. When someone invented something and it doesn't mean that you have to wait until other people have copy the same program. I would buy Ford rather than waiting for Chevrolet to come up. (LOL) Not sure if you see it in NY. I am a customer and I LOVE it. It has saved me by 50%. If this Ambit Energy is a scam then WHY is it a member of BBB with A rating and member of DSA (Direct Selling Assocation). I know that guy in Florida. He is cool guy. I recommend you do your homework researching like I did before I post anywhere.It is posted in deafnewspaper.com. You know Ken Davis is against scam companies and he support Ambit Energy.
