I do talk bad about the Hearies because the Hearies want us to be like the Hearies. For the life of me, I can not hear what they talk bad about us, Deafies, just because we like the way for visual better than lipreading and speak without ASL. To me, Hearies are strange when they have no idea that we can be comfortable being deaf.

As for "hearies" talking "bad" about the "deaf"- I suspect they don't. The reason how many deaf persons do they know? I acknowledge that I have only been bilaterally deaf since December 20, 2006. Still my opinion- today.

Earlier, I was asking someone (not on here) how to get the CC to work on a movie set that I got for Christmas. He was confused by what CC meant.
