Ever been looking for a particular taste in a whiskey and you cannot find it? Discuss that here.

I'm looking for more ideas!!!

There's an alcoholic whipped cream that has 3 times the alcoholic content than beer.

After visiting a neighbor today...(they had a party last night), and seeing how horrible she & her husband looked from the "hang over"...and the Crown Royal....just give me a glass of sweet tea!

Crown Royal. Enjoy in a lovely coffee drink.

The reason I am asking this is that I am going to start a distillery within a few weeks, experimenting with flavors and such.

One of the goals is to make a significant portion of sales to be donated to the Deaf community.

soft peat, some caramel, toffeeish palette and nose, solid malt in the core, soft peat smoke, some cirtus in the nose leading to the sherry oak wood tanning rounded off with Rata Honey or Rewa Rewa honey New Zealand....good body with finesse in transition from the soft peat smoke to the tongue tingling hint of the mango juice that ultimately leads to honey.and malt in the centre of the structure.

thats my dream,

of its an american whiskey , look at Van Winkle Special Reserve 12yo and/or Wild Turkey Rare Breed for examples...
good luck

There is a place in San Antonio that makes flavored whiskeys and tequilas. One of the best seller is a smoked flavored whiskey. They also have various other flavors such as fruits, candies and even meat flavors. Cinnamon, cherry and berries as well.

When I do ever drink a bit of whiskey, I prefer whiskey of a good, traditional blend served neat.

In the Appalachians, they make moonshine that is clear and good, then drop candy such as peppermint into it before sealing the jar. (yes, jar) It tastes clean, sharp and very good. They also make it with crabapple or peach peelings during the brewing process. It is very, very nice and not as fruity as you would imagine. Very smooth and clear.

Honey?

People with sore throat might be inclined to gulp down whiskey with honey. Just a thought.

Anyway, best of luck with this project, hope it'll turn out great.

go sample some Nikka Yoichi 12, 15 and 20 year old whisky from Japan its amazing, in fact they are still making it with hand-coal-fired methods of the old scotch way whereas in Scotland they have largely ceased and gone 'commercial' using stainless steel vats pretty sad as you see the Scots were forced to due the inability to keep up with the demands so hence the"modern" way...but Nikka didn't, and thus those whiskys are frightening expensive!

Mix whiskey with lemonade and add mint leaves to it.
