For the past week I have had a recurring dream. I don't know how to explain why, or even, if, there is a valid reason why I have recurring dreams. I just have them from time to time. When I was 14, I had a recurring dream that Iraq was invaded by force. Then . . . 4 years later - the U.S. invaded Iraq and it was called "Desert Storm". Coincidence? maybe. That wasn't the only time I have had recurring dreams that later came true. I don't have an explanation for this at all .... it just ... happens. Sometimes.

In this particular dream, I am always at a major hospital in my area. I am walking down the halls and I have a sort of biohazard suit on. The first dream I had, I was walking into the hospital from the parking lot. The parking lot was messed up in a bad way. It appeared there had been cars set on fire, wrecked, turned over ... it was just scattered chaos. When I entered the hospital, there were busy bodies everywhere, tending to sick and dying ... bodies were strewn everywhere but chaos become more orderly the further I walked down the hall. Then I woke up.

Well, the second dream I had sort of picked up where the first one left off (which, to me, is very unusual, but like I said ... it happens sometimes). I was back in the hallway again, with the same biohazard suit on. I wasn't helping the orderlies or staff, it was like I was searching for someone. I noticed that there were bodies lined up in an orderly fashion and they lined the hallways from the head touching the hall walls and feet facing the center of the hall. Both sides of the hallways were lined with bodies in this fashion. It was creepy. They had some sort of white plastic covering them. I began searching for ... someone, when I woke up again. I thought "wow, that was weird".

The third dream started right up again (it was the third night). I was in the same hallway, when an orderly approached me. For some strange reason, I knew what had happened without anyone explaining to me anything (you know how dreams are). Apparently, what had happened was the AIDs virus had gone airborn. It had somehow mutated, or evolved or whatever, into an airborn virus. Billions had died.

Now .. its starting to creep me out a little. I know ... I know ... it was just a dream  but still ....

That's very awesome. I've had a recurring dream since I was a little girl of myself very young and naked crawling through many tunnels under the ground, trying to find a way out, but constantly meeting an obstacle. Whenever I experience some sort of an accomplishment or milestone in my lifetime, I dream that again and the obstacle goes away then I continue crawling.

Weird, I know.

But hey, I love hearing about dreams.

I hope your dream isn't a premonition of our world ending soon in 2012 if people believe that stuff!

I always had a dream while young that saltwater crocodiles chase me. They never caught me yet so that is luck.

They HAVEN'T caught you yet.

What??? Do I need to cite the rule or something? Fine! Improper use of adverb to construct past verb tense.

(BTW, Botts and I have an ongoing grammar war, and she's well in the lead.)

NOW I see what's going on. I'm still very new to this forums, but I found it hilarious hence the facepalm. I'll make sure to point out her grammar mistakes to you whenever I see one so that I can put you back in the lead. :D

Back to the corner, newbie!:slap: lol. kiddin'

Oh Botts knows I'm just letting her win. If I really wanted to, I could pull out all the obscure English grammar rules. Isn't that right, Botti? :D

I think your dream is telling you something. Maybe not the obvious meaning that AID's will go airborne (anything is possible, but lets hope that isn't it). I think its a warning sign of some sort, you maybe running from or feel uneasy about something in the real world.

I had a dream years ago that I was with my deceased grandfather in the middle of a city. He was giving me a pep talk about confronting your inner demons (fear) head on. He was telling me to face my fears and conquer them.

Then, I was in the sewer system in the city and I was holding a flashlight. Crocodiles started swarming around me (maybe I watch too many movies :giggle: ) and my flashlight became a lightsaber. Except .... the batteries were low :giggle: and the lightsaber was only about 8 inches and getting smaller while the crocodiles got closer. :eek3:

That was about the time I woke up.

i wonder if your dreams are trying to warn you something about your health. I get them sometime then I understood what my body is going thru.

As soon as you work through what is being communicated to you in your dreams, they will stop recurring. Look at the symbology, and ask yourself, "What is this dream trying to tell me or remind me of?"

You don't need to use a professional or buy a book to interpret your own dreams. If you look at it piece by piece, you can generally see it on your own. If not, maybe just a suggestion from someone else will trigger it in your mind.

Not weird at all. In fact, a very usual dream and a very usual response when it stops. The obstacles in your path are actually representing obstacle that you fear that will keep you from achieving your goal. The fact that you are naked simply represents a fear of found unprepared to deal with the obstacles and succeed. The obstacle going away is your subconsious reaffirming that you can overcome all the obstacles and succeed.

I imagine that may be true Professor. :)

But as you know, it was just our game, so I must quit if another becomes involved.

I have a lot of vivid dreams, it's pretty much on a daily basis.
