Evil....evil.....evil!!

Those businesses are evil?!?! That's new to me.

Note the emoticon eye roll. I didn't say they were evil. It's a tongue-in-cheek thing here.

Who cares? :dunno:

well - an obvious answer is because the Democrats control both House, Senate, and White House. Now that Republican controls the house. Looks like the new finding will shift toward to RepubliCorps once again.

There appears to be a bit of a difference in the actual money also. Most of those Red ones are smaller amounts.

Well, there are MORE Democrats than Republicans so I'd think there'd be more money.

In total $259.3 million dollars were given. 51.38% of that money went to Democrats while 48.62% went to Republicans. So, which ones are "evil" based on money amount given and from which group? Does it really matter?

Not really.

It isn't really evil to me.

Parties aren't matters, even GOP isn't perfect and you won't find anything that satisfy to your standard.

Ok, I don't think Kokonut sees what the flaw in that statistics is... let's look at the registered Democrats vs registered Republicans:

It's a lot more so it could be that more money are donated for Democratic causes.

I have elsewhere some that there are 214 million registered voters vs your 169 million registered voters. Yet the question becomes how many of those in the industry are independents who contributed to either a Democrat or Republican party?

Only 29% of the registered voters voted in this last election. That's only 90 million voters who voted.

Newsvine - Voter turnout increases from last midterm in 2006

actually yes it does matter especially when you obfuscate the figure with misleading comments

Figures don't lie - but liars use figures. Is the percentage meant to be the percentage of each group who donated to either party, or the percentage of the total $$ donated to each party - convenient that the piece doesn't say, so I am mistrustful of these figures. And were these donations to the 'Party' or to individual candidates from each party (or both). Since both parties lie - I don't trust these articles (regardless of who writes them) - especially if they leave out information.

Venture Capital: 64% Democrat, 40% Republican ($6.4 million)

This number doesn't add up.

Exactly. And what's up with the emotional response getting use of the word "evil"? Such a blantant attempt to manipulate. Shameful.
