Absolutely ridiculous. Repubs are going to try and pull the same shit that they did on Clinton...

I used to think that there was no difference between democrats and republicans when you got right down to it: they're all a bunch of scumbags. But this elevates republicans to a new level of scumbaggery.

So going after corrupt scumbags makes one a scumbag???? Interesting.

What about Eddie Bernice Johnson? She just sailed to re-elction with over 70% of the vote.

I hope this isn't going to be a trend for the coming decades. If the out of power party doesn't like the in power party, all they have to do is find some offense like a married man having an affair with a woman or some other excuse and use that to impeach the president of the usa because he belongs to the wrong party. Or even if they try to disprove a president's citizenship to no avail a la the Birthers.

I guess the Republicans haven't forgotten Nixon. In my mind, only presidents who are found guilty of serious crimes like breaking into a hotel should be impeached.

As far as I'm concerned, Clinton's behavior was grounds for divorce but not impeachment.

A government official lying under oath to a judge is grounds for divorce????

So, Rangel or Waters should NOT be investigated for their apparent abuses of authority?

good luck. since everybody were above the law during Bush Administration.... what's new?

Hell yeah!

Remember about Tom DeLay.

Nothing to do with color but one's violation of House ethics rules. That should be apparent already as is.

Yes, but this "don't shred documents" THREAT is directed at Obama. What does he have to do with the nobody congresswoman mentioned in that article?

I don't see anything like that. GOP is asking officials in the Obama administration not to shred or delete any relevant documents. How is asking them not shred anything be constituted as a threat? Where is this "threat" you're speaking of?

Sidestepping the real question at hand in an attempt to deflect from the earlier logical fallacy committed I see. Nice.

Anyway, I'll take the bait. How is this NOT a threat? It's like a shop owner telling someone who just walks in the door "Hey, you'd better not steal anything from me." Just proposing the possibility that the person might steal (or shred documents) is a threat in it's own. It doesn't matter how politely it is worded.

I actually had a restaurant owner who did that.

Beverage Nazi.

Not sidestepping anything. You're making the claim that there is a threat in that request. I've asked you a question. Where's the threat?

Since you answered, I still don't see the equivalency here nor see it as a threat per se.

And my question was how did that article posted of some congresswoman in Texas have anything to do with the GOP "request" (is that better) that Obama doesn't shred documents? Which you still haven't answered.

But you certainly didn't feel threatened. Right? Right?

I thought it was odd he kept pushing ordering a beverage, so when I asked for water... he yelled at me and went into a fits. Weird guy... then when he realizes he's an ass, he go to the kitchen. Weird.

Good food, but how does that place stay in business? It's certainly not the first time, and he got a reputation.

How does this relate at all to Obama? Because she's a democrat? Because she's black?

Just another corrupt scumbag like Rangel and Waters..... Nothing to do with race.

Why are you asking me that question? I didn't post a link about Eddie Bernice Johnson. TXgolfer did. Go ask him that question.
