That's why I honestly believe that all terminal patients should be counseled on end of life options.

That has not been my experience......And I have seen many die

That depends... Some people are more affected by it than others. I remember this one time I was with a family when the mother passed away. The father told my friend and me to go and play some poker. It was a good ending to a great life, so... It all really depends.
 
Some value life for what it is and the chance to see their loved ones and part wisdom before going.

how selfish of them when their loved one is dying and is in great pain that cannot be described

Just because his quote is in my post doesn't mean I'm replying to it. I'm offering the different POV added to it.

Atheist doctor and religious doctor. Religious doctor is not likely to discuss about "Death with Dignity" option.
