How come you recently become deaf?
Don't feel bad, there are so many deaf events in Minnesota, where you can make new friends. There are deaf camp in Minnesota as well.

I am 5th generation deaf, and I am very f****** proud.

Wow, that is good, authentic. You do know Minnesota very well. Yes there are many Deaf socials and deaf events including Deaf camps like going on the travel with tents or motor homes. I have been there many times in Minneapolis and northern Minnesota before I moved to New Mexico.
