We had an earthquake here in syracuse and rome a few minutes ago! anyone of you feel that earthquake too??

Maybe what you felt was deafies all across America jumping up and down for joy because AB2072 failed?

! thats cute!

My co workers and i got puzzled at it and found out it was earthquake. i got a message from my hubby askig me if i felt that earthquake. His location work is about 1 hour away from here. He felt it too. gosh!

:aw: that would be California reaching across to NY though.. Tousi

Was the quake big? Did you notice anything shaking or just personal feeling?

I dont know. all i know is that i could feel that waves from the ground like something was under the ground. it was only 5 second then it stopped. i will find out how measure earthquake was it here later.

HAHA, Naisho.

Frisky: Richter Scale number? Epicenter?

must be secret BP testing a non-nuclear bomb to plug a hole up there

That's interesting. I had same feeling recently at supermarket about 1 or 2 months ago here.

I was looking at dead blue crab in the live seafood tank and then i notice the crab is moving around. I am thinking :wtf: then I looked around and saw the isle signs on ceiling are shaking around left and right. its the first time I noticed an earthquake outside of being home.

Later I checked that quake was around ~4.0.

5.5, wow, that's a pretty good jolt; wondering about Banjo now......also wondering about the building codes in that epicenter.....

Do kids in school on the east coast get to do the earthquake drills?

Free day outside on the blacktop. :run:

Wirelessly posted

5.5 in Ontario/Quebec. Sis saw it on the news and relayed via MSN.

I was away on my break and chatted with the other coworkers. they spoke with someone who lives in quebec. that explains why. and that's where it came from. thanks for the link.

We live in an earthquake area on the East coast but I've never heard of any of the schools holding earthquake drills. They did debate closing a couple of the older schools because their buildings aren't constructed to earthquake resistant standards.

Wow! Any damages?

So far, everything looks okay to me. I know most of us will re check everything here. I haven't seen my home yet. I assume it should be ok but my concern is that my house is old.

I can image how strong quake in canada got over there.
