from what I read - these sea turtles are endangered species - Kemp's Ridleys. The killing or harming of Kemp's Ridleys sea turtles is up to $50,000 fines per body but the proof of dead turtle is needed as an evidence to levy the hefty fines against BP.

so yea.... burn them. remove the evidence.
