I upgrade my iPod Touch 2nd-Gen. I hardly see different behind new folder or group for app to make much easy. I able to put these useless app in folder and ignore it.

Unfortunately, that I know my iPod Touch isn't powerful enough for multi-task and wallpaper behind app, only during lock mode

I won't upgrade OS 4.0 in my iPhone 3GS. I'll be holding steady at OS 3.0.for a little while longer just to keep my benm.at hack alive until getting new iPhone 4 mid-July.

I see you put the nasty in there? Shame on you. And your iPhone 4 won't have jail breaker for a while... enjoy the native OS.

Multitouch, it is eh anyway man. Think about all the times you use multitask on a phone / ipod.

Do you really multitouch and multitask that much that you need it?

Only time I can think of is when you browse web and want to do something else same time.. but that's what computers and laptops are for.

Benm.at tethering is not jailbroken necessary. I dislike jailbreak. I keep my current unlimited data plan for new iPhone 4 but can't add AT&T tethering. New AT&T plan is 2 GB data and tethering only at $65 since June 7. No more unlimited data plan. AT&T s...ks. Tethering will be nothing when getting new iPhone 4.

Ah, that's different one. I see... you have my excuse... Hope you enjoy on new iPhone 4, very soon...

There is non-root / jailbreak tethering for android too.

Because the phone isn't on ATT's plans or bands, I use other methods.

Okay, Do you know how much data you use a month? I use DATA a lot for google maps, email, MMS, and some tethering. I get around 50MB a month.

I rememberd PowerON use tether a lot and he got around 1GB a month. Who need more than 5GB a month?

May you tell us how much data you use a month?

As I know that I have been use mostly on AIM, checking email and rarely use maps. Never use youtube or similar this one to view. That's really effect for myself on road

Tried, but don't see the point in it yet. If they mass produced now it will be failure and loss of money because not enough interest in public.
It is still "nice to have" but not something that is needed yet in today's PC world. Maybe wait 10 more years then it will become mainstream.

Then you are not gamer and photography, It's pointless for you.

Hard to believe it will be failure because iPhone 4 just sold 600,000 thru pre-order already. I remebered in few years ago that Steve Ballmer said iPhone is big joke and only one button. Guess what? Apple just beat M$ in market. Now most company add multitouch for mobile like Samsuge, M$,Android, etc..

I am talking from the mass world perspective, not my own. Phone is its own world, I'm talking about all multitouch.. For laptop, PC, machines, etc.

You are a computer person, you know what I am talking about. If every single company started multitouch everything now, you think they will earn that money back?
No way man. Still needs some more time.

Ah. This thread is talk about mobile.

(off-topic)
The tablet with multitouch is useful for Auto tech, doctor, construction, army, etc. whatever they can afford.

You read report new TAP iPhone data plans since June 7.

iPhone/Blackberry/Smartphone $35.00/mo 200 MB data (internet and email)
and unlimited messaging *
iPhone/Blackberry/Smartphone $45.00/mo 2 GB data(internet and email) and
unlimited messaging **
iPhone/Blackberry/Smartphone $65.00/mo 2 GB data(internet and email),
unlimited messaging, and tethering **

* If you exceed 200 MB of data, you’ll receive an additional 200MB of
data usage for $15, replenished as often as necessary during the billing
cycle.
** If you exceed 2 GB of data, you’ll receive an additional 1 GB of data
for only $10. Each time an additional 1 GB is used during a cycle, you
will automatically receive another 1 GB at the same low price.

If you are on an existing iPhone TAP plan, you will keep the current unlimited data service. If you change the plan to one of the new ones, you will not be able to revert to your old iPhone unlimited plan.
