Didn't know he was black...thought he was Jewish or Hawaiian...and I'm not acting like a "deaf" person!

How does a black person "act"?...What's the proper way for the President to act?...guess he cut classes in behavior science..."Behave, Barrack"!
 
Bill Maher is a comedian. He's joking. When it comes to Klan robes some of us have a sense of humor but can't see that Bill Maher is clearly joking? Wow.

So, making fun of somebody's death is funny so soon after somebody died?

Odd sense of humor. I suppose cracking jokes about Dennis Hopper's prostate cancer after his death you'd find it humorous, too?

Maher is pretty funny sometimes. Like Letterman he is less funny now than years ago. It seems the bitterness in their comedy is growing as they age. But that's just me. I don't have a problem with Maher making this joke. My only problem is with people who will give Maher latitude to make a joke like this because they agree with him but choose not to give the same latitude to people they disagree with.

Yes, but I draw the line when it comes to making a joke about Steve Irwin in a Halloween costume. His own bitterness is making him to be the idiot he is today.

:werd: Jokes about dead people are generally pretty tasteless.

Jokes that make fun of stereotypes bring light to their absurdities and consequently help take the power out of them. I think most jokes that make fun of the stereotypes themselves are pretty hilarious.
