Man injured after using propane tank for target practice

I was curious what kind of propane tank. Stupid? MAYBE, as it depends on which propane cylinder. If it is 500 gallon, definetly stupid, 20 gallon still stupid. Half gallon, well, best be at least 300 yards away.
 
Just talked with my co worker, he is cool guy and he said he would do same thing but must more than 200 yards away. Oh well
 
There are lots of videos on YouTube of people doing this. I'd do it too if I was far enough away.
