Got more news...up to 40% chance of going to LV this July. May is the month to know more conclusively and June will be the final month to know for sure 100%.
 
I am signed up as a volunteer for the event :)
I explained that I am still learning ASL and they said it was fine ^_^

It's too early to know exactly what I will be doing (although she did give the area's I could be put into: Admissions, Conference Staff, Interpreting[Doubt I will be doing interpreting tho XD]), I know I'll be at the sands expo center.

I live in Vegas too so I'm all set; just need to put my time in from work.

Last night I found out that the Treasure Island hotel was fully booked for this event. :shock:

Some hotels are low cost between $25 and $35 per night. I think about Tuscany Suites & Casino. This price is cheaper as $34 w/tax and good rate. 1/2 mile far to Sands Expo Convention Center.
 
Up some percentage points on the possibility of going. Now there's a 50% chance of going now that the push is being done seeing the urgency. Food, lodging and flight? It won't cost me a dime. I'll know more over the next 60 days.

Pretty much Deafies will own las vegas. You will meet people of all cultures.

I think it would be a grand experience for ANYONE involved.

So, make that 100%.
 
We changed to Bally's....5 nights for 254.10 AND their 400 sq ft rooms.

That Bally's cost start at $44/night. Hear it have better review. Nearly 3/4 miles but could take skytrain anyway.

Yeah, many casinos (not Bally's) add on resort fees. Treasure Island, for example, Deafnation's headquarters is/was 89.00 per night from a block of rooms DN reserved (now sold out) but there is a 20.00 per day resort fee so, in essence, the room is really 109.00. The resort fee is just simply another way to make money in this economy; this fee is for use of the pool, use of exercise rooms, etc....so we will use this savings to go to a couple of shows like Blue Man Group and Le Reve, an aquatic show.
