UofA Huntsville Shooting

Oh wow, other school shooting in Alabama after incident at middle school in Madison, AL.

That's so sad about 3 people died so I hopefully it won't happen at our college because there's 2 recent school shooting in my state.
 
oh my! Please, I hope my niece isn't one of them ( I think she goes to that school as a student )
 
ok, I read it closely and see it was the staffs that got shot and that it was college. I feel bad for the family :(
 
What's extremely unusual is that the shooter is a 45-YEARS OLD FEMALE HARVARD EDUCATED professor. It doesn't fit in the typical profile of a shooter.
 
Give me a case where a well educated *female* professor has done the shooting in the past. A typical shooter is a young male who hasn't finished school.
 
what does education have to do anything. there are alot of sociopath females out there.

and some females kill their own children

Sounds like a teacher gone postal. Anyone can go postal, no matter what...what a scary world out there.

well seq's talking about "scary world" so.... use it except at prohibited locations. But to answer your question - Alabama has not prohibited CCW on college campuses.

Ok, why does anyone haven't shot at Amy, the professor before she killed 2-3 staffs?

There's no such thing as a typical "shooter" profile.

There have been female mass murderers or those females who attempted mass murder in the past: Brenda Spencer, Andrea Yates, Patrica Ward, the Manson girls among others although these are rare.

because I guess the society has been coddled too much that they forgot about CCW? or because of anti-gun climate nowadays that they do not want to bear a heavy responsibility as a CCW holder? or because there's no CCW holder nearby? :dunno:

a more important question is - where did she get the gun? She was not legally licensed for firearm.
