ok, I'm bisexual and recently discovered that last summer. I haven't done anything with a guy or girl yet but I want to. the thing is that my mom doesn't know yet. how do I tell her? what's the best way to break it to her? also, my mom's side of the family is very religious so that is a HUGE reason why I haven't told her yet

You don't HAVE to tell her. I still haven't told my parents yet. (I'm 30 and realized I liked girls when I was 15) For me, I haven't told my parents since I haven't really been in a serious realtionship with a girl (my first two girlfriends were friends of mine at camp when I was 15/16) Luckily they are openminded........and if I ever bring home a wife or girlfriend I know they'll be very happy for me :)
When you say very religious what kind of religion do you mean? Fundie Christian? Catholic? There are gay religious support groups out there

she is baptist and so am I. I'll look for support groups and stuff but I doubt there is one. she has said that if I'm bi, she will love and support me

if she said that, why you doubt? she's your mother, she won't stop loving you just 'cause you don't like the common things, and with "common" I mean boys with girls...

The Association of Welcoming & Affirming Baptists
Rainbow Baptists Christian Resources
Stuff I found by searching.....
And I can understand a bit about the whole being confused and scared about being gay.
Especially seeing as you're Baptist.(although I do understand there's a huge diffy between Bob Jones style Baptists and libral Baptists) Just remember, NOBODY really knows What God Wants. 40 years ago the very same people protesting GLB issues, were the SAME ONES who were protesting integration and supporting segregation.
I will bet in ten or twenty years almost all mainline churches will accept GLB people.
