Obama aims to ax moon mission

We will be fine. we have no money right now but once we make money, we'll have that program back on. Priorities!
 
Economy is just still sucks right now, take more time.
 
Is he using a hatchet or a scalpel. I seem to remember him saying that cutting programs was a bad thing while he was trying to get votes.
 
Pretty disengenious to talk about spending priorities when there were none in 2009 and that it was nothing but spend..spend...spend...to the tune of $1.4 trillion over budget. It's in his blood, he can't stop spending your tax dollars (and money we don't even have!).
 
GW Bush did make to announce missions to Mars and Moon.

Our country needs to save some $$$ for other good reason

Exactly. It's all fine and dandy that we can send guys into space through NASA, but when there are issues on earth that need solving -- we need to deal with them first.
 
At least it was a good decision. We dont need to go to the moon again yet. We gotta save some money in order to improve our economy to help boost up more job hirings, businesses to improve, to build more schools, etc you name it. We still have plenty of time for the space exploration stuff...as long as technology keeps improving, space exploration will be a little easier then.
