But... it isn't over to kill the health care reform, the house would have vote the senate's health care bill before could goes to Obama's desk so only 2 weeks to left because he wouldn't get certify to seat in 2 weeks.

There is also the Nuke option where they change the bill slightly from it's current form and only need 51% to pass it. Or the House could approve the senate bill as it is and it would become law.

Brown won the seat... now you can be happy that you will NOT have health care insurance if you ever need it for free or low cost.

This nationalized health care take over wouldn't begin until 2013 if it gets passed (it won't *smile* since Obama is asking Congress not to ram this bill through without Scott Brown involved first. Too late, Obama, to play nice now. He'll be the 41st vote against the bill and made explicitly clear that this need to start all over last night).

What's wrong with this bill? Puh-lenty!

You got pork within a pork, reams of it.
There were behind closed door deals made by snooty Democrat Senators.
You had so many bribes in this deal you'd think it was the mafia.
You had unions involved....full of the purple colored stuff.
Pharmaceuticals deals.
There were no transparency in action.
It was all a Democrat deal.
It's a messy bill.
Nobody read it.
No one is exactly sure what's in it since it is well over 2000 pages worth.

Oh, btw, SCOTT BROWN WON!

Figure it out folks. It's not hard to understand why this happened. Massachussets is the bluest of blue states with 19% of the people there are registered Republicans, the rest are made up of Democrats and Independents. If this can happen in Massachussets, think about the rest of the blue states. Already we have several Democrat senators quiting and not run for re-election in 2010 taking the first clue of a Republican win for the governor's seat in Virginia and NJ. And now a major coup win in Massachussetts.

This is what it looks like for Democrats right now facing the 2010 election. heh heh....

Picture of front cover magazine The Weekly Standard with a cartoon of a bunch of Democrat donkeys panicking and running for the exit while Pelosi and Reid gets caught in the stampede. Very funny picture.

Five shock waves as the result of Scott Brown's unprecedented win by taking Kennedy's seat away and giving it back to the people (finally).

1) President Obama is weakened
2) Independents are lost to Democrats
3) In the midterm election in November, Republicans are poised to win 25 or so House seats.
4) Senate Republican Leader McConnell is the new king of Capitol Hill.
5) The health care bill, ObamaCare, is dead with not the slightest prospect of resurrection.
The Health Care Bill Is Dead | The Weekly Standard

Pelosi met with House Democrats yesterday to tell them how the negotiations on a compromise health care bill between the House and Senate were going. As she spoke, one Democratic member whispered to another, “It’s like talking about your date on Friday, but the date’s in the emergency room.” ObamaCare went into the emergency room in Massachusetts and didn’t make it out alive.

LOL!

Kokonut, good for you.

When they sent Obama, John Kerry, and Bill Clinton to Massachussets a few days before the election in the hope to gin up more support it was a big clue that the WH and Democrats were panicking over a very real possibility (based on their own internal polls, too) that Scott Brown would win the Senate seat.

And he did. An unprecedented turn around where Democrats, Republicans and Independents voted heavily in favor of Scott Brown and to send a message to Washington. I don't think Obama is listening at this moment on what the people are saying. It'll take November 2010 election coup among Republicans for him to realize it but by then it'll be too late for him, Pelosi and Reid.

I SOOOO expect your typical rabid anti-Democratic ramblings. :)

Health care bill is screwed. Obama's screwed. And you take delight... good for you.

Er, more Democrat and Independent voters in Massachussets voted for Scott Brown. Go blame them for that change.

How's that "hope and change" working out for ya?

MA spoke and voted for Brown. I accept it. I am not a bitter angry white male like you.

Republican will FAIL as repeat as democrat does.

Remember about 2006 election...

That's why Massachussetts voters voted for Scott Brown because of the Democrats' continuing debacles, too much power, deficit spending, reckless health care bill, increase on taxation. That's why the people of NJ and VA voted in for a Republican governor just a few months ago. Why do you think so many Democrats Senators have decided not to run for the November 2010 election? They know they're in trouble. Scott Brown's victory is quite emblematic in all this and that people are tired of what Democrats have done and are not doing enough (or too much). It's a conservative message that voters are sending because independent voters do make up a good majority chunk of voters among Democrats and Republicans. The difference is a conservative direction they want to see....not liberalism, lack of transparency, lack of accountability, seeing Senators that get easily bought off, and so on.

Not bitter. Just glad that the people are finally seeing the bigger picture here and have sent a big message to Obama. And will get an even bigger message come this November 2010.

1) State governors has NO RELATION with federal, both of state and federal are very different so 2 republican won for state governor is just nothing to being affect on Obama Admin, even low vote turnout has helped republican won in NJ and VA.

2) It isn't thing as you think about democrats has many reason to be retire from senators, who would hell care about democrat or republican, you are worrying about Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama everyday and you talking about democrat, democrat, democrat so cough.... That's why I ain't in interesting to listen your whine about everything.

3) American Dream is just democracy, it can be change everything, really everything.

4) Life is too short for you to being obsessed about Obama, Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Communist, etc....

5) Republican will FAIL in several years as repeat as democrat does today.

You still bitter about everything for really...

Brown's victory has very tiny impact on me because you don't care about everything, even health care and you would be screw up if you are cancer patient.

really? and Republicans' not guilty of continuing debacles, too much power, deficit spending, lack of accountability, lack of transparency, and reckless tax cuts?

btw - been wondering where you are cuz I was expecting to see you gloating over this. Thanks for a good laugh :)

Um, we already sent you a message - we elected Obama. And I remember how angry and upset you were when Obama won and you went reclusive and then came out being so bitter, waving "Dont Tread on Us!" on your blog? You were truly butt-hurt!

:giggle:

That's what the people of Mass. thought, too. But a year later, they realize just how bad Obama and Congress were and are, it was time to send in a guy to shake things up. They realized just how disengenious Obama and Congress have been. No wonder the people of Mass. were fed up. And this is just the beginning.

Scott Brown:
"And I hope they’re paying close attention, because tonight the independent voice of Massachusetts has spoken."

"Most of all, I will remember that while the honor is mine, this Senate seat belongs to no one person and no political party - and as I have said before, and you said loud and clear today, it is the people’s seat."

Indeed.

Hardly a comparison when it comes to Democrats and Obama.

Reckless tax cuts?

LOL.

Here's one Republican Deaf guy said about this Brown's win:

"Was Kennedy's death part of God's work to keep America red?"

Now, I didn't say that. Somebody else did.
