Thinking of hitting the gym tonight:D
 
I am thinking what a productive day I had in terms of errands and exercise. It will continue to be productive tonight when I get together with some girls from work.
 
Thinking teenage girls are often snotty and full of attitude, whether hearing or deaf.
 
Thinking.. I love being able to come home from and not have to cook!! Just heated me up so grub in the microwave.

Kids are gone for a week!! Wooo..
 
I love my new bowling ball I bought today. It works great and I can't wait to use it during my league

I haven't been bowling for 16 years!! I really miss it. Since I have such [problems with my leg and a numb hand (dominant one) I had to give it up.

What's your average? Mine was 264 when I quit.

Haha, wow 264 is quite the average. If I averaged that I'd probably make bowling for my career. Can't say I've ever seen an average that high.

My average is 211 right now, hopefully I will have somewhat increased success with this new ball. I go through balls every few months so its not like its a new thing, but I really enjoyed this ball so far

I was on 3 different leagues and bowled at least 4 nights a week until I got pregnant. I started bowling at age 8 and joined my first league at 12. Got my first 300 game at 15 and have had at least 10 more until I quit at 30.
 
Thinking it's time for me to go to bed. 5am comes early in the morning and I still have to get things ready for hubby for when he leaves in the morning.

I used to bowl in a league. :) I just stopped this year. I sucked, but I had fun. I played 5-pin.

Oh I see. I hope that it does not cross your mind to be a wife slavery like in the 1950's or otherwise like this: :run: .

The 1950's rules:

- Don't ask him questions about his actions or his judgement
- Remember, he is the master of the house
- Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity to please him
- Be happy to see him
- Have dinner ready before he comes home. Plan ahead of time.
- Dust off the tables, do the laundry, vacuum the house, clear out the clutter, etc before he comes home from work
- Never confront him with your complaints and problems
- Remember, his topics of conversation come first than yours
- Try to understand his world of strain, pressure, make him feel home and relax
- Encourage the children to be quiet
- Respect him that he is always right
- Be a good girl all the times for rest of your life

Is there a metric system for scoring bowling???? 211 would be top 35 on the men's pro tour for 09 and 264 would break the tour record by 40 pins.

No, there is not any scoring exchange within "American" bowling. Unless one is very familiar with bowling, its hard to comprehend what 264 average would be. PERSONALLY I'd believe a 264 AVERAGE only if I saw it. Its one thing to get 264 game (or higher) let alone average over that. Thats why I said I'd be doing bowling for my career if I averaged that high. Heck I'd be the greated pro bowler ever if I were that good.

Oh, leagues start usually end of August and go all winter into the spring. I only bowl Thursday nights this season, but used to bowl at least 2 leagues a week for many years.

I know a couple of deafies with averages WAYYYY above 220. They choose to be on SS, instead of going pro.

One is 232.
 
I wished I could have all deafies team to bowl nationals with. Wish I could bowl deaflympics too, but oh well
