Hi everyone. I'm a 55 year old man complete with hearing aids and the rest of my hearing ability is going south fast.

It's been a good ride having the sense of hearing, but losing it makes me appreciate the other senses that I am still blessed with even more.

Just wanted to join in and learn along the way. Hope all is well and I look forward to future friendships here. TexasCityDave

Thanks SallyLou. Yep, I'm right down the interstate from you. One of my two girls is an attorney in downtown Houston. She lives in the Heights.

But...We're having a home built in League City. So I'll even be closer. TCDave
 
I'm an attorney, too. I love the Heights. Couldn't move there because hubby and I wanted a good public school for the kids. League City is nice, too. If you ever make it into the metro area, PM me.

That's great SallyLou. My daughter and son in law appear to be unable to have children. I even offered to my son in law to have it contracted out. lol

My daughter works for Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, and so and so. She's been licensed for about five years, I think. Thanks for the offer and I'll be sure to PM you. Maybe the three of us can have lunch sometime. TCDave

Hi Dave, I too am a late deafened person. Had to "hang up" the HA's 3 years ago. Acutally, they met up with an accident while at work. Desk chair homicide. Rolled on them by mistake. I dropped them while cleaning and changing batteries. Freaked out the whole office when I hollered "Nobody move!!!" I moved chair and they got crushed. The fastest way to waste $4000.:giggle:
