No, it is having tethering feature. :) Jailbreak 3.1.2 firmware released a few days ago. This feature allows me to update AT&T 3.1.2 and download upgrade MMS feature.

WoW! Holy shit! I don't use tethering but did tested it. now, after update, I don't think I miss tethering but I understand chevy needs it. Nathan, i didn't think of it before. lol I m testing it now. hold on.

I refuse to download update OS 3.1.2 and have kept 3.0 because I have Bemn tethering. I will wait to listen that 3.1.2 bemn tethering may be coming or AT&T tethering. AT&T isn't be ready to launch it till end of year. AT&T is stupid to waste time.

I believe that you lose tethering feature in your iPhone when updating OS 3.1.2 . :roll:

What are you doing if att terminate your service and bill with $175 early termination fee for unauthorized tethering? You need be careful about how much data can be used.

I know about it. I had used it at little. I always turn off it on my iPhone but need it for emergency or work with Purple for testing on calling customers' P3 netbook or MVP only. If AT&T tethering will be ready to launch, I will upgrade OS 3.1.2 to kill tethering.

Oh ok, would you accept to pay tethering fee? It is usually $30 for 5 GB.

I won't accept to pay extra fee at $30. I don't like AT&T. I m still waiting to hear that Apple would contact other carriers to sell iPhones next year or so.
 
The cell carriers are charging for tethering fees all because of the bandwidth people using over the celluar networks....I noticed slowdown on AT&T's network because too many people are using data bandwidth.

Come on, $30 is better than $60 that applies on mobile card.
