Non-existent weapons of mass destruction was irrelevant. Iraq signed Persian Gulf War surrender treaty terms allowing inspections of nuclear sites etc......Iraq reneged on those terms....and decided on a game of chicken........playing bluff is risky......reneging on surrender terms only increased the sense of fear........he brought it on themselves..... didn't need any more than that.
Everyone argues about the WMD....irrelevant.
 
It's not irrelevant because those alleged WMD are what were used to sell the war to the public.
