I am not sure if I discussed here or somewhere else, just owning gun increases the risk of suicide/murder, even if you do it legally.

well, I had a list of links showing that just having gun in home increases the risk of homicide and suicicde significantly and that's not surprising.

What's even sad is that the husband is a parole officer and he shot her while she was chatting with her friend on the webcam. Horrible!

This is not surprising. Most violence is committed by someone known to the victim. I feel sad for the children who are now orphans.

no. based on what I read - this is the case of domestic violence between spouses. Majority of domestic violence cases are not caused by guns. It's by their fists.
