Starbucks has been making an apple chai tea that I really like, but they are so expensive that I decided to try and make it at home. Here is what I cam up with, and it's really good. Kind of a cross between chai tea and spiced cider.
To brew by the cup:
I fill a mug about 1/3 full of apple juice, and microwave for 1 minute to heat. Then I add a Tazo chai tea bag, and fill with boiling water. Let brew for 2-3 minutes. Add a teaspoon of honey (or more to taste), and enjoy.
To brew by the pot:
Same thing, except use 2 teabags and brew for about 4-5 minutes. Add 2 teaspoons of honey. That is for a 2 cup teapot.
I haven't tried it iced, but I think it would be good cold, too.
