Can't try and twist words, here, yiz. You are the one with the kill 'em later attitude. To be anti-choice and pro-death penalty is contradictory when you base your argument on "killing is wrong."

Since when a potentiality to do great things become a crime of incest or rape?

Since you insist on being on this note, since when a child is at fault of being a byproduct of rape or incest? Are you saying the only crime the child has is because he or she exist because of rape or incest?

It's wrong to kill, to do so is a result of the death penalty to keep the person from killing again. he or she has shown no respect for the person's right to life.

So you rather hug a child murderer and flip the finger at the victim?

Try and keep up here. You started this discussion over the fact that you were outraged that Medicaid would pay for an abortion in the case of incest, rape, or a mother's life being at stake. That led to the fact that you claim those children could turn out to single handedly save the world.

A child did not commit the crime. The SOB that raped and impregnated an innocent woman, the SOB that forced sexual intercourse on his daughter committed the crime.

So, you are saying that you would force your daughter to endure the torture of carrying a rapists child to term, thus increasing her trauma 100 times over? Or if your brother raped your daughter and impregnated her, you would force her to carry that fetus to term, and traumatize her even more? If so, you are one heartless individual.

Sorry yiz, you can't say "it's wrong to kill" and then turn around and justify killing in another situation. If it's wrong, it's wrong. That's what makes your position completely hypocritical.

Did I say I was outraged that Medicaid has to pay for the abortion? You said it, not me.

Show me the quote that I said I was outraged. You won't find it because I never said it and you're just being too emotionally involved at this topic that it's clouding your judgment.

My discussion is strictly from logic and I never allow my emotions to get involved in this kind of subject.

otoh, I've never met a liberal who can discuss issues w/o getting all emotionally wrangled about it.

Well if it's wrong, why are you ok at killing the unborn child? The only crime here is because the child exists.

No, Yiz, I said that I was outraged that a judge attempted to block payment from Medicaid for an incestuous pregnancy.

And here is your statement:

Oh? Then would you care to explain to me why the Federal statute requires that Medicaid pay for abortions that are performed on poor women in cases of rape or incest or a threat to the mother's life?

I'm not contradictory in my position. You, however, are.

People choose to abort for any number of reasons. Often to save a life. What is your problem with that? You place more value on the life of a fetus than the life of a full grown woman?

No I never would say that. It's wrong to commit incest and rape. It's also equally wrong to abort the child simply because the child is a byproduct of rape or incest. The person committing rape and incest should be put in prison for life and the child who is not at fault to live. If the mother does not want the child, put the child up for adoption.

As much as your logic justifies killing a pedophile but forcing a girl who has been raped by her father to carry an incestuos pregnancy to term.

Obviously, you will never be in the position of making that decision for yourself. Quite self righteous of you to think you should make it for one that does find themselves in that circumstance.

Then you would allow her to have an abortion? Its got to be one or the other. Abortion or carry the pregnancy to term.

No, for most cases, the abortion being performed by majority is for convenience. The cases where the mother is at risk is very, very low. Less than 5%.

The saving a life comment is a cop out and a lame excuse for having an abortion. For the most majority of the reason is not only about convenience, it's also because of embarrassment that they made a stupid mistake and they don't want to own up to that responsibility, so it's easier to kill it rather than taking responsibility of caring for the child. It's no different from a dad who takes off when the word "pregnant" pops up.
