*sniff*

I smell fear.

Fear? Of Sarah Palin? :bowlol::bowlol: Yeah, she's scary allright! But completely and totally powerless. Nothing there to fear, except laughing so hard at her you choke.

Sighhhh....short memory, eh?

Iron Todd Palin|Men’s Journal

And you'd think she'd spend on her own $150,000 of the GOP $ the clothes she need for the campaign? The GOP campaign people wouldn't let her even dare do that. They picked out the clothes for her. And for her husband. And kids.

They had to pick out the clothes for her. They were trying to create something that appeared credibile and respectable. But the job was simply too big. It couldn't be done.

Yeah, take a cue from Levi to believe every word he says. Take a grain of salt is a good adage to live by. And, oh, it'll be a best seller. Either people are interested in learning more about her or they will try and find some dirt.

She beat out three other guys in a male dominated politics for the Governor seat. That took gumptions and smarts to get there. Let's see you try that.

Bullshit. You really need to check your facts on that election.

Plenty of update links in that thread.

No matter either $150,000 or $75,000 but they are still a lot of money to me.

Oh, sure there were several male candidates altogether she beat out. But I'm talking about the top three, Tony Knowles (Democrat), Halcro (Independent), and sitting Alaska governor Frank Murkowski (R) going for his 2nd term in office.

No b.s.

Have a nice one.

the Palin win

She was at the right place at the right time. A totally unknown but familiar fresh face on the Republican ticket following an extremely unpopular Republican governor(Frank Murkowski) in a Republican state. Her main platform boiled down to I'm not Frank. Her actual qualifications to takeover state governorship were a step above nil. We will pay the price up here for Sarah for a while on the Gas Line boondoggle that her outsized popularity has brought upon us. At any rate the most amazing thing about her is the rabid defense and support she gets from the far right simply because she mouths the right words and looks good while she does it. No fear here just disgust with my fellow Alaskans. Right in the clinch when we had a chance to stabilize our state economy with a plentiful energy source we bring in Sarah who promptly dropped her in state gas line affiliations and went after the same boondoggle Frank Murkowski was trying to bring on.
The Republican majority of the people just went along like sheep. Mean while there was a minority of Republicans aware but helpless and hamstrung by her popularity. The lady is a political trainwreck that should have warning signs all around it saying danger. I don't pray much but when I do I really mean it. Sarah quitting the governorship up here renewed my faith in prayer and God. I thank God that she is out of office.

The Republicans had several competent and talented women that they could have chosen as a VP candidate. I suspect that they chose Palin because she was unknown and they thought that they could control her. Didn't turn out that way.

I wish that the whole trashy clan would go away!

I think someone like Elizabeth Dole would have been a much better choice.

Selective extraction of information, as usual. Complete BS.

No doubt.

Interesting book

A little off topic but Kristen Downey has just published her biography of Frances Perkins. The lady who hardly anyone now a days knows who she was.
She was the Secretary of Labor under FDR and is the one who put together and launched a lot of the hated programs the righties use but say how bad they are. Social Security, unemployment, and with support she gained from FDR she encouraged the Labor movement and supported its goals- things like and eight hour work day and overtime pay and job site safety. Without her we just flat out would not have those things. Compare her with an idiot like Palin. There are so many hard working women out there that have actually had to learn and suffer and battle their way over obstacles to get where they are. Makes me want to vomit just to hear her. The champion of a dumber and dumber America.

Thanks for the head's up, inspirabull. I'll have to get a copy of the book.

You guys actually believe Levi? I'm sure he's doing this for free out the goodness of his heart.

Levi Johnston plumbs new depths of scumbaggery with Vanity Fair article on Sarah Palin - Telegraph Blogs

Even MSNBC said they didn't believe Levi between to the ladies seen in the video. And just watch the video of him obviously enjoying the attention.

Not me. If the press weren't so keen to dish out the dirt on Sarah palin they wouldn't give him the time of day.
To me he is not a very credible source of information.

Well, I don't think he's creditable. I doubt others posters on this thread would think he's creditable.

Whatever you call it, she beat out the top three male dogs. The others didn't even come close vote-wise. Halco barely got noticed with his votes but nonethess he was among the top three candidates. If it makes you feel any better, Palin "beat the snot" ( it's all relative here) out of several male candidates for Governor.

Whatever.
