Congressman in Mass.! I called the person up to see if he would have sign language interpreters at his meetings and we got talking about a lot issues being deaf or HOH and the health bill . The guy said he would me like to come work with him to make deaf and HOH get the help they need. I have never done anything like this. I have been making phone calls to remind peope running for office in my state that deaf and HOH people vote too and there should be CC on political ads on TV ! I got Gov. Patrick to do this when he was running for gov.!
If I was take up this offer ,what issuses would people like me bring up . I think I may try it and see how I do ,and I want know if anyone live in Mass. on the North Shore . And what do you think the state need to do for people that are deaf or HOH , does the schools need to do more and has any one rights been violated by the polices as they not were given interpreters in the police staion or court.The guy that ask me to work him is also a lawyer and I would like to see if really mean what he said about help handicap people. We all know how people running for office will say anything to get a vote!

Thank you Loghead!! I was really surprise the guy asked me to work with him! A friend of mine told I should go ahead and do it . I been speaking up for the deafs and elders for years now and I think it has finally paid off ! I am still in shock about being asked to do this!
