Deputies searching for 1,260 stolen 6-packs of beer

Let's just hope the thieves don't decide to sample their ill-gotten merchandise.

Thieves have stolen $70,000 worth of beer, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say two tractor-trailers containing Corona and Modelo Especial beer were taken from K&N Trucking, 8205 E. Adamo Drive. The employees learned that two Freightliners carrying 1,260 six-packs of Corona and 990 cases of Modelo were missing about 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Law enforcement found the empty trucks about 5 p.m. in a vacant lot in the 300 block of West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

My stepmom probably has the beers. Wouldn't surprise me if the cops found them in her basement. She's a raging alcoholic.
