Well... it's just similar to my old posts in any forum that, I made a joke about various stereotypes and political incorrectness but I unknownly offended some people. They told me that I have no sense of humor. Whatever.

It's more like "offensive humor", maybe. I guess... =/

No it isn't. It is an OPED. Doesn't take any special qualifications to write an OPED.
actually yes it does take quite a qualification to write an article especially for NY Times. It's a known fact that you cannot have a paper-light background to write any such article that is going to be published in NY Times.

And the comic...it was sadly funny.
si.... si....

No it doesn't. It was directly specifically at the American situation.

Those countries do have an interest on making sure that illegal immigrants do not come to their country w/o permission because it is their country. Though ironically native American Indians were there first. The word "Native Americans" apply to all indians in North America which includes all of Canada, the United States and Mexico (and then some, 23 countries in all to be exact). We don't say native United States Indians when refering to indigenous people here in North America. Again, the sentiment in that cartoon also be applied in other countries I've already outlined. Granted, ours is seemingly much worse of a situation.

I believe you also accused me of being unable to understand conservative related jokes.

Sometimes it's simply a manufactured outrage for the sake of expediency. Sometimes a cartoon is just a cartoon.

Oh, puh-leeze. It is a newspaper.

Yes, yes.

Mod's Note:

For obvious reason, This thread has went astray and there were a lot of bantering going on. What, Are we going to have to babysit you guys in here?

While the political cartoons out there are meant to convey different messages does not mean that it should have been taken out of context to make a difference.

So, with that, The thread is closed to let it cool down.
