When I go out with my hearing dog I talk to him a lot. as I have to give him commands. People think I am telling them to sit, stay or leave it! And some people looked shocked that would tell them to leave it! Does this happen to anyone else? I been thinking of wearing a pin saying I" am talking to my dog! " I was in the ladyroom and I was telling my dog to stay and woman thought I meant her!
 
it's OK to talk to ur dog....even to urself....as long as you don't answer ur dog...or urself!...(never start an agrument with urself)!

I just think it really odd that people think I would tell them to sit, and stay! They can see I have big black poodle with me!

I can imagine. I am sorry I found some humor in it. People probably freaking out. Not realizing you are talking to the dog.


Next time just tell them to, "Smile!! Your are on Candid Camera" and walk away.
