It's the first party of the summer at our house....My 14 yr. old will begin high school in August....My yard is already full of teens outside playing Guitar Hero and Wii....cokes, hot dogs, chips, etc., and I'll be cooking some brownies....

So I won't be around AD much today...ya'll have fun until I get back!....Now, I'm gonna go out and have some fun with these teen rockers!!

LOL!

I guess I will be doing that in two years. :)

Ugh, I hate high school, too much stress.

I never had a party or anything when I went into high school. Come to think of it, no one really did. There were grade 8 grad parties after the graduation ceremony, which was also a waste of time. I didn't go to middle school because my elementary school was a K-8 school. I hated elementary school and I actually quite enjoy high school. :)

Have a good time at your 14 y.o.'s party, Rockin! :)

Same here!

My daughter already thinks she is hot stuff, for she is no longer a mediocre 6th grader!

Will she be in 7th grade in the Fall? My daughter is still very innocent-like although she knows about sex, drugs, and all the nasty stuff. She hasnt started any of the rebellious or "I am all that" behaviors yet. I am hoping she stays that way for the next 6 years. *crossing fingers*

She will be going into 7th grade. And my daughter as well is a good girl. I do hope she stays that way for a long long time. She has a good head on her shoulders.

Keeping my fingers crossed too. Our little girls are growing up Shel!! :aw:

I do not know if I will do it or if my daughter will go to one. But it sure sounds like a lot of fun!!

Congrats Rockin' Robin! Only Four more years for your 14 year old. Then you will be sitting watching your kid graduate! :)

I enjoyed High School quite a bit... and I missed it, lol.

Middle school was alright for me... not the best years I had.

But that's cool that you let your son to have a party. What a cool parent you are.

I dread for the day that my son turns to a teenager.... yikes, only ten more years to go before he turns thirteen. Yikes!

It's so hot out there!....but about 12 kids are still partying....I'm hoping it's gonna end around 7pm...I'm exhausted!...Always a "long line" to use the bathroom...but I think it's because they wanna come in for the A/C!!....My 14-yr. old's g/f is here and Matt and her were "holding hands".....ahhh..."Young Love"!....but High School beckons!...New friends....new girlfriends....football....I loved high school!
