I always like HTC devices with slider keyboard. They are nicely build and function good for me but Windows Mobile is "OK" not great thou.

I like what I am reading about Andriod OS from Google in the past and it seem to be a good OS but I dislike the G1 so I was hoping someday HTC will release a device for the Andriod ..

Look it like will finally happen around August for AT&T

Here link about it - HTC Lancaster is a QWERTY slider with Android for AT&T

Rumor is out that AT&T is announcing or releasing it on June 24th.

HTC Hero / Lancaster running Android and "Rosie" UI launching on June 24th?

I hope so cuz I need to replace my worn out Cingular 8525 soon. :D

I think Google OS is gonna be cool and fast on a HTC device under AT&T 3G.

.

if that happens, this will be my next phone. I am hating windows mobile, blah! It feels sluggish even its on a phone with fast processor.

Same with BB, OS is so sluggish when you load the data or use some apps, such as Google map has alot of sluggish when you move the map, even slower to load the data, regardless if you are on 3G.

I think about phone with Android or Palm Pre, also iPhone is very smooth when use internet or Google Map but no multi-tasking support.

Another HTC PDA - HTC Fortress (Touch Pro2) is better than HTC Lancaster. It s released not yet

AT&T to introduce several smartphones (Phone Arena News)

Fortress is Windows Moblie 6.1 and I am not get another WM phone again.

Windows Moblie is sooooooo outdated now days

But Windows Moblie 7 supposely out this Sept and will have to wait and see if WM 7 finally different improve design OS or still same old WM 5 to 6.1 with more fix and patches.

My next phone will be any HTC with Android (Google OS) and slide keyboard.

Yeah, it is out of date which I agree. I'm using WM 6.1 which isn't much better than 6.0 or even 5.0. It's just a few fixes with a new "interface".

What's your alternative option if Google Android isn't offer like in past?

Probably the Palm Pre if they have it for AT&T network, but right now they have it for Sprint. It has Web OS (newer version of Palm OS, I believe) which is basically Mac friendly from what I know.

Cheer it up, I have agree about Palm Pre.

What are you think about Blackberry?

Yeah, pretty much

Oh yup, I have feel like that and never want use Verizon anymore due high monthly bill and I'm looking for other carriers, also haven't make decide by next month and I just need $30 per monthly for everything.

BB never meet my satisfy for performance because RIM hasn't fix the performance issue and I do got mysterious bugs, the update software for BB is very complicated, not easier as Palm, SK or Android that has update built-in to fix the bugs.

Yup, same as Windows Mobile never have updates to fix any issues. I have NEVER seen any updates on it since I bought it last year Nov even tho there is a Windows update application, pretty stupid huh?

Ugh, yup, I never liked WM in my life and it's most frustrated OS that I had use, far worse than Danger OS.

I'm avoid to use tmobile and will be Verizon in eventually because tmobile has shitty signal and Verizon is overpriced but signal is great.

Att is good but no 3G in my area.

Ahh, I see. I have good 3g coverage so It's not a problem for me. I don't mind if it switch to edge when I'm out of 3g coverage. It generally has good coverage elsewhere, even in small towns where Tmobile network (sidekicks) doesn't work at.

If no 3G then WiFi is must for me, I can't believe about Verizon don't offers many phone with WiFi, except for WM phone and new upcoming BB don't have WiFi either.

EDGE isn't bad but could be intolerant if you use larger data.

There are some really great phones that are coming out for sure. I currently have the HTC Touch Pro running windows mobile 6.1 and I really like it very much. I use the GPS and windows live almost daily and I have tons of mp3's on several micro SD cards. As soon as my local store stocks the new HTC Touch Pro 2 with Windows Mobile 6.5 I will be there waiting for it.

Huh!!?? It ain't complicated. I've downloaded OS 4.5.0.137 and took me couple minutes to update. Once it's running BB OS upgrade when Curve is tether to USB, I didn't bother to stay and watch. I just run for snack and watch my fav show till update is done in 15 min.

Did you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed in your system when you first got your BB? If you already have BB Desktop Manager, If you download update and install it, It'll update BB Desktop Manager. It'll detect BB old OS and upgrade it. Is that complicated?

So How do you explain "Complicated" for BB Update? :eek2:
