It is unfair for the twenties, thirties, and forties and even tens (gasp) to be having their own threads so I believe a section for the fifties needs to be enacted.

Who is in the fifties!?!
Break out the pictures of your bowl or your super curly jazz & Pizazz haircuts for everyone else to see.
Any of those long, plaid or checkered skirts and bell bottom pants are :afro: bonuses.

Put those youngin' AD whippersnappers to a rest!

My respects go for the Nam vets as well.

I have shoes older than the 20 year olds. I am a proud member of the Half Century Club. I wear the gray proudly, like an award for living hard and long. A Badge of Experience.

I may be an "oldie" at 62 but I'm still climbing that mountain! Too mean and strong to "give it up"....

I found my senior picture, from 1973, and this is not a fake. I copied this from the Yearbook. I had an illegal buzz working here. :cool2:

I was gonna match you year for year with my senior pic from '73, but can't get it to convert to a thumbnail, and it is too big to upload, even after cropping.

Any suggestions from you younger computer geeks?

TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting does allow resizing but for cropping and stuff..... type "online photo editor" in google.

it'll show up as fotoflexer, pixenate, phixr, picnik, etc.... those are reputable one.

So, who was your role model back in your days if I could ask?

Sure, I recall you said you were on the Vista platform once. This is one method, to do it personally yourself.

Provided that your pic is in BMP/JPG/PNG extension format, just click start, go to the search program bar, type in mspaint and press enter.

Then load up your picture through opening the file, go to Image, go to Attributes (or Image Attributes, forgot exactly what it was)

Choose the Image units as Pixels and choose a size within 150-700 for both.

500 x 500 is probably a generally accepted standard.

Depending on how the picture is, you might have to crop it instead, but I'll just wait to see how it goes for you. You need to save it in a JPEG/JPG format or else it'll probably be too large to use AD's attachment upload system.

No scanner and this is the only picture of me from that era.

I am 52 at this moment.

Not sure. I was into substance abuse big time back then. I worshipped Mari Juana and Barb Bituate and L.S. Dee. Maybe I was going for John Lennon look. I was still 100% hearing in this pic. Music was a huge part of my world.
