Question.. Get "used" Blackberry Pager 8703e at Ebay

My hubby's blackberry 8703e is worn out and hard to see the screen, so I remember that Sprint dealer told me that can get used blackberry at Ebay.

My question:

How can my hubby's old pager transfer to used pager with e.mail address lists and save files?

If you still have BB Cdrom that came with your hubby's BB. There are program that allow you to "swap" device. It's on Blackberry Desktop Manager. If you don't have one, You can always download it from Smartphones, Cell Phones & Smart Phones at Blackberry.com and click Download and on Left screen find "Blackberry Desktop Manager"..

Sprint dealer should do swap too I believe it's free. But it's safe than sorry that you can backup Email address and some files ect before handing it over to Sprint dealer.

Update....

Last week, We bid *Ebay* used blackberry pager for 30.00 then went to sprint a store.. They transfer from worn out pager to Ebay's pager! All set and no cost! But it lost all e.mail addresses!

Next time when you get all Email addy listed, be sure to use Blackberry Desktop Manager to backup your Email. In case if your bb goes bad, lost or worn out. After you got it transferred to new device. You can use Desktop Manager and restore backed up Email so you lose nothing. It's just an insurance
