Do people remember Clinton Era?

Yes, I remember the era. I looked down at him when he withdrew the troops from Somalia after 18 American soldiers killed. Should have to stay there and our turn to take revenge for the 18 fallen American soldiers.

And, he signed the anti-gun bill, Brady Act. :nono:

And, of course, he excused the missions to capture Osama Bin Laden in three occasions (1996, 1998, and 2000), if he approve it and go ahead to capture OBL, the 9/11 could be prevent us from into economic trouble, about 4,000 fallen troops, owe China for around $800 billions, and etcs...

I still remember him as great cheater as Hillary want to choke him. Oh man, I would love to see what's like on them argue how awesome oral between Monica and Hillary. Maybe Hillary decide to show what she is made of.

Exactly, I have no problem with Gulf war but I want to try to ask in my previous posts why can´t they arrest Saddam Hussein for his crime during Gulf War?

And Saddam should be arrest for his crime war as W. Bush make a right thing to capture and put in judge under Iraq. bwhaha

:giggle:

I can see it now: Monica and Hillary duking it out with each other.

Talk about the true definition of a catfight. :laugh2:

Wait a second. Clinton is to blame for the 4,000+ troops who have lost their lives in the Iraq War? Former President Bush was the one who declared war and while Congress approved it, it was still primarily Bush's decision. Why don't we blame JFK for 9/11 while we're at it?

true... assuming he has enough experience dealing with deafies. but then.... there are millions of hearings with mediocre english skill... the "their and they're" thing

True. I know some profoundly Deaf individuals who can write 1,000 times better than people I know with normal hearing.

Well, on another forum, dreama and I share similar views... I was "attacked" for what different pov I have and they told me off to mind my own business. Yet a certain user I know who never get some bash posts cos many users agreed mostly of his posts... this user is non-Califorinan, so I am... but he is very liberal and I am not... I was put down by other liberals... I stopped to share with others about my beliefs... I will not suprise if Dreama do the same thing...

I feel the same way here at times. Some ADers attack me because they mistakingly think I'm a far left liberal when in fact I'm middle of the road. They refuse to believe that, but oh well.

because:

1. Al Queda didn't exist during JFK Administration.
2. this 9/11 plot began in Clinton Administration, not JFK Administration
3. Clinton failed to respond to the situation
4. Clinton was known to be very shy and sensitive to use military force
5. 4,000+ troops lost their lives under Bush Administration, not Clinton. Blame Bush for being poor Commander-in-Chief

which one? older or oldest Bush?

There were insufficient evidence to arrest Bin Laden during Clinton's term even when they were closing in on Bin Laden.

yea? that's different from what I knew. The CIA agents or SOG or whatever had bin Laden in their target sight and was waiting for permission to kill. Clinton's legal team wasted too much time spatting around about legal issue regarding killing bin Laden and Clinton ended up aborting the mission because assassination was a violation of Executive Order 12333. IMO - it's not really an assassination. it's a preemptive strike. To add insult to injury - because of Clinton's massive defense budget cut, the Pentagon lacked manpower and resource to continue tracking him down.

in short - Clinton neglected the security policy and spent too time P.R. to build his image... which is why his handling of foreign policy especially toward to Iran was ""less disciplined and less strategic than his predecessor." (a line from Liebling's source from other thread)

SOG was in action during the Vietnam War, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, North Vietnam, etc. My late uncle flew for them during Vietnam.
The assasination ban doens't include foreign leader in uniform or head of state in uniform. the loopholes are wonderful.
You're speaking of the JSOC units (Delta, SEAL 6, etc).

I don't know exactly what they used for bin laden during Clinton Administration but if it's JSOC, then JSOC it is. SOG does still exist but of course... they denied such existence... same for DELTA :cool2:

you'll have to ask President Bush, Sr. It was his call.

Why should I?

Anyway, over 4,000 troops would stay alive & happy with their families instead of go to Iraq war if Bush, Sr. arrested Saddam during Gulf war. :(

Uh, I said they love you and they frown on Dreama (not you) because so many ADers agree with your povs in some ways. You should know so many ADers "attack"/bash on Dreama many times than only a few ADers "attack" you for what different pov you have. Well, look at you! Nobody tell mind your own business while ADers give a shit on Dreama and hiss her out by telling her back off and mind her business. Guess what? She and you are not Americans, so what is the big deal?? =/

Oh, Don't take my post personal. I do understood what you tried to say in first place... I only want you aware that I also was being attacked by few anti-foreigner ADers, too.

Oh yes, they told Dreama none of her business because she is not an American in several debate threads in the past. Ask Dreama.

Yeah, Dreama & I have different political views. I disagree with her but I support her against anti-foreigners because their anti-foreign comments are not acceptance.

The legalities of the decision is enormous. It's not to be taken lightly. They could've executed him but instead wanted to capture him and bring him to the US for trial for the first attack at the WTC.....

thing is.... Executive Order 12333 strictly forbid the assassination of political figures but we can kill enemy combatants for preemptive strike purpose. let's face it... Clinton was a scaredy cat.

you can go to wikipedia and get your fact straight. Delta Force is real. Go to The United States Army Homepage and see of the general officers who served in SFOD-Delta.
During Clinton, it was still JSOC. some of his more liberal lef-twing tried to shut down the Special Operations Command since every SOF is required to learn a foreign language, which is not good news for the PHds now servinvg under Obama.
