Then you can kiss your democracy good-bye and say hellow to socialism.

I don't believe that's what she said and meant, B.....your'e up awfully early today, aren't you?

I do not want a democracy Byrdie, our Democratic Republic will do just fine.
I do not want a socialist state either.

Perceptive as ever Tousi,
I agreed that the bailouts should never have happened for anyone or any company. That is capitalist not socialist.

As an example with the AIG mess. Something that the Obama Admin. agreed to and is in the bill but they now deny knowing about it and feign disgust. There is going to be retention bonuses paid to Freddie and Fannie employees as well, where is the outrage over that?

BTW, loved the cartoon Babyblue :D

I agree!!

Now the baby boomers of 2007 will be paying for all this mess.

They are literally being ROBBED. For something they had no control over.

I think its gonna go further down the line....to our children and maybe their children, too.

The House of Representatives passed a motion to impose a 90 percent tax on those AIG bonuses. I thought it would be around 60 percent.

Kudos to the House of Representatives for making a good decision.

Working long and hard hours buddy....plus I am also studying for the exam in July.

Yup, for families who make more than $250,000 per year.

Also up to 10% would be by state and local area, it would going to be harsh for sure.

simple - ask the employer to pay you $249,999.99 :)

I believe that they are tryin' to use Stimulus Package to attack people's faith -- IMO. :hmm:
