Dishonesty by omission. There are those, usually with a specific agenda, that say "That's not being dishonest. It just isn't telling everything.":cool2:

However, if the purpose is to deceive or manipulate the interpretation, then it is, indeed, dishonesty.

OK guys, when you are thru judging my motives for inadequately describing the drawing, will someone please give a fuller description of it for Hear Again? She must be sitting on pins and needles in anticipation.

No secret at all. I simply responded to more specific questions in PM. I see no need to repeat myself when the person requesting the info has already had it provided.

How about trying to come to a compromisement?

Jillio, you are being unfair and out of character. I'd like for you to reveal what more it is you gave to HA that Reba left out. I'd like to hear from HA that she, indeed, was given more, pertinent, and relevant information and is totally disgusted with Reba for lying to her. In fact, since some of you are calling Reba a liar, I would require that HA post the PM's as it relates to this cartoon depiction; otherwise, I will think Reba is not a liar.

Edited to add that I know she isn't.

OK. I won't describe images for anyone anymore, so there will be fewer opportunities for people to judge my motives.

I hate to say this but I'm becoming more apprehensive about posting anything in any thread without fearing banishment. Well, I guess all good things must come to an end. :)
 
Allright -

I think the thread is getting a little bit out of hand by saying one is a liar and only adding fuel to the fire.

Let's make a wager/deal on this - If anyone wants to describe an image; They can do that and they are free to do so. If any other information of describing the images are missing; The next best thing to do is to add more description to the images in order for some members who are not able to view the image.

While I do agree that it is out of character to say one is lying and one isn't. I'm not saying that anyone is lying. Again, it is how about how messages can be conveyed in thousands of different interpretation.

All I am asking is for this "attitude" to stop. At least, try to be respectful to each other than letting it stretch on too thin. That goes for everybody.

Hi everyone,

Another ADer brought this thread to my attention. I'm sorry I couldn't comment until now. I hope no one makes it a regular habit to call someone a liar based on what they've described. Since I can't see pictures, I appreciate any and all ADers who are willing to describe an image or picture for me. Right now I'm going to look back at this thread so I can get a better understanding of what happened. :ty: to those of you who took the time to describe the image for me. I appreciate it! :)

Please don't stop describing pictures because of this thread. As I mentioned, I appreciate anyone who is willing to take the time to describe them for me. I hope you'll continue to do so as well. :)

By the way, :ty: for your description. Right now I'm looking back at the thread so I can get a better understanding of what people have said.
