People have stated that they have no life when they fill out those surveys for fun...like the surveys about favorite colors, what you are wearing and etc..



wonder why is that considered as having no life if one fills out these kinds of surveys?

I think they are fun and thought provoking sometimes.

Do u think they are for people who have no lives and have nothing productive to do?

Just curious...
 
Nah. I've got a life, and I get a kick out of them. I have an old psych prof from undergrad that still sends me stuff like that.
 
I love those surveys! I make things up to make them more interesting. I can always make someone laugh..ok.. well maybe smile... ur well, smirk hehe
 
Me too :D - especially the very loooong ones ;) It might take me a while to reply but I always do reply when I get one

:laugh2: Really I don't care much for surveys but my husband did like one survey and this is about our products at home like a grocery store thing. It just a waste of time on these surveys. I guess it is all part of the business to see how we buy, what we wear and other things so that they can update their products to make us buy their stuff. This is my two cents worth. :dunno:
 
I don't think there's anything wrong with those "fun" surveys.

It just depends on what kind of surveys they are for. Some of them are not so well off to answer in the first place. Some of them are interesting to read.

It's all about learning one another in the process.

So, for those who fill out the surveys - Do they have no life? That isn't in the contrary because, I do get a kick out of it and reading the answers.

Edit: If it is too personal to answer; You don't have to answer it if you want to.

I think people tell you you have no life because you are not leading the life they want you to lead. Perhaps they are unsure of the lives they are leading themselves and need validation for how they are living it.

Most of this forum is dedicated to the proposition that Deaf people do not have to live up to the expectations of the majority of hearing people; that they can set their own standards, collectively and individually.

One of my favorite songs says it very well:

I fill them out once in a blue moon. Some of them even send you money back when you fill them out. :lol:
