I love my BlackBerry, but I turn off vibrate 95% of the time now.
If I need to look for emails, I take it out and glance at the screen like a watch.
I don't use BlackBerry vibrate much anymore because vibrate controls my life too much.
I can make it vibrate only for one person, too. (custom profile)

Opera Mini (Faster and better than BlackBerry Browser, see here)

Age of Empires III for BlackBerry (from Handmark)

BB OS are known to have "memory leak" and over time, it'll start to fill up to 12mb then after that BB would become sluggish. I did hard or soft reboot on my BB Curve every now and then to make navigation smooth and fast. You can swap to BB Bold cuz it have 1GB internal memory
