Sarah Palin could not name a single Supreme Court case that she either agreed or disagreed with. TRUE.

Sarah Palin could not properly detail the duties of the office of VP. TRUE.

What does all that have to do with the allegations about her thinking Africa is a country and not knowing the members of NAFTA?

Scroll back and read the posts and you will see the obvious connection. And thank you. You have just listed 2 more of which she has been accused that can be substantiated.

The whole point of this thread is those two things she was accused of and denied. Everything else is a red herring. I see nothing that proves that they're true nor do I see any "obvious connection". All the candidates made stupid gaffes. That doesn't mean every anonymous allegation against them are true. If I'm missing something, please show me.

So you are saying that those two specific allegations against Palin are not true and can not be supported?

And, if another poster brings up allegations made against Obama in comparison, it is hardly a "red herring" to bring in additional accusations against Palin.

I'm not surprised. What else do you expect her to say? Just because Palin claims those statements are false doesn't mean that they are. After all, she doesn't want to look any more ignorant than she already does.

They may be true, and there may be more evidence out there, but the evidence I've seen is weak, so I don't believe it yet. If you have a video or something more than a few anonymous sources, I'd be happy to see it.

You can choose not to believe it if you wish. But the thread is not about whether you accept the truth, but what the truth is. The truth is that the allegations against Palin can be supported as truth.

My point is we don't have enough information to know definitively what the truth is. Anonymous sources don't past muster.

But hey, I know a guy who worked in the Obama campaign. He said that Obama actually thought there were 10 continents. Yeah, he's an anonymous source, but I swear it's true. Oh yeah, and Obama said there were 57 states, so it's entirely believable he would think there were 10 continents.

Is this passing your truth detector? Would it if it were aired on the news?

Good attempt to deflect from the topic at hand, but you still loose. Actually, you have shown your own hypocracy, by first stating that such allegations had nothing to do with the topic, but now, when you think they will serve your purpose, attempting to use them.

The fact is, Sarah Palin has shown her true colors to the American public, and they have made their decision based on that. Don't be a sore looser.

It's not hypocrisy when I'm using an absurd example to display the absurdity of the logic being used here- that the rumors based on anonymous allegations must be true because she has said and done stupid things in the past. I would think a Ph.D. candidate such as yourself could discern the difference, not to mention the sloppy logic I was trying to point out in the first place.

What makes you think I'm a sore loser just because I'm defending the person who happened to lose the race? Does losing a political race make one fair game for baseless accusations?

huh? sounds like you've been watching FOX's dubbed/edited version of Palin interviews. :roll:

Youtube it. Google it. Her gaffes are not even a silly innocent mistake like asking a wheelchair person to stand up. It's a RED FLAG - it's called INCOMPETENCE! It showed that she has ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE what or how the federal government works. and I thought Obama was an inexperienced fool. :roll:
