Borzoi?

Has anyone around here owned one of these dogs? I understand they are kind of rare but i think they are beautiful. I'm thinking of checking more into aquiring one. I've done research on them but i haven't known of anyone personally owning one.
 
It looks almost like Irish Wolfhound. My aunt used to have one..boy he was HUGE but sooo friendly and love EVERYONE! She had to get rid of him due to her allergies. She only can have dogs that she is not allergic to. She have 2 poodles I think. :)

Anyway, that breed, Borzoi look so beautiful!!! I saw Italian greyhound while on camping...shy but sweet dog! :)

yeah can be shy

but not my dog lol he just bark and bark lol that is his way of wanna to play chasing with him heh

Yes, I have read that although Borzoi are really large dogs, the only need one good run around the block a day. The rest of the time they are couch potatoes, which kinda describes me lol. Great that they are very gentle too.
 
Cool..:) My neighbor have a Great Dane and lives like 900 to 1,000 Sq. foot house! BIG girl dog! :)
