Mainly, from what Banjo says....virus depends on the internet browser/file browser that's intergrated with the OS which is why Windows get tons of viruses while Mac OS X has a file browser/internet browser seperated from the OS which makes it difficult for virus developers to program. Thanks to the UNIX OS! :D

After I switched from Windows XP to Windows Vista, I ran into problems using Firefox. My bank for one, All Deaf for another. The cure -- according to Microsoft, of course -- was to douse firefox and use Windows Explorer. I switched, and voilâ no more problems.

Short of buying a Mac, what do you suggest a Windows Vista user to use instead of Windows Explorer?
 
It be nice if there are a way to remove XP or Vista integrated browser and replace with dummy one. I've done in the past with IE remover for Win 98 and ME. It replaced with dummy one after integrated browser was removed. It made my wimpy 200mhz runs faster than 2.2 ghz AMD 64 system. I installed Netscape browser and it was daaammnn fast! But problem is that I couldn't get Outlook working cuz of integrated browser was gone.). Currently they no longer have it after Win 2K and XP came out. I would bet if integrated browser finally removed from XP and Vista, Then pc would run like supercomputer.

I would like Linux too become mainstream alongside Apple OS. I had Ubuntu for long time before AMD64 system board went bad. It was pretty fast going around the net with firefox. My daughter prefer Ubuntu over Windows cuz of stability and speed. She love Compiz desktop and showed off her friend lol.

I was not sure which correct mini mac or mac mini - anyway

I do not remember what I saw.
Yes, I remember that they have VGA with 15 pins port. I am not sure to remember what I saw DVI with VGA adapter.
Mac Mini Review

We did test hook up in store before buy. Mac Mini's power was on but no picture on monitor's screen.
Then, I went home to call (use VP) Apple Tech Support.

I am glad that I did not take Mac Mini (out of date) for half price.

Outdate Mac mini is VGA (ugh).
New lately Mac mini come with DVI. Stop search outdate hardware. It's like you're live in ancient computer. :roll:

I own Mac Mini and connection to 42" LCD thru DVI->HDMI and it looks great.

Actually more are using IE7 today than IE6 but they are close in each other and IE7 is growing more and more and soon IE6 will shrink smaller each month while IE7 is growing bigger. Notice that IE5 is almost dead at .03% and was very fast shrinking in size in past few months ago

Sorry, I am nothing knownledge about Apple Mac. One day, I walked in store, saw "special price include wrote defected" Apple Mac Mini on the shelf. I do not know much about Apple Computer system. Ask sale person to hold for me. They told me 1 hour or so-so. I came home to research on Apple or call tech support.

Most important to learn new something about MAC before buy it or not. I do not want to be sorry myself.

Yes, I am not interest to buy overprice Apple Mac system or Hard Core Game PC system.
After 5 years, Apple Mac is worthless.
I prefer not foolish to spend $$$$ on graphic card for $300, high end memory for $200 and huge size of HD.
Not want to waste my thousand dollars.

That's why, I am very familiar with PC System for many years.
I never pay attention on any Apple Mac System. Yes, I was interested in Sun Microsystem or SGI Silicon Graphics O2 but still over price and limited softwares.

Last late spring, I bought BFG motherboard for $5 at CompUSA's last day.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro
Few other apps - like tax, Filemaker, Adobe Pagemaker, Words, etc.

I fed up this Mac VS. Pc – The truth illustrated - I seem that some (Apple user) people make fun to other people without respect anyone.

*Slapping on PowerON's face* ouch, his glasses is broken and you owned him, feel better now?

If you want ensure and know about Mac then you can go to Apple store or Best Buy to check it out as demo, you can browse around Mac OS X and ask alot of questions to retail salesperson, retail salesperson at Apple store is great and very impressive, Apple store offers personal shopping if you want appt for that, just you and salesperson for long hour.

If you own Mac Pro (desktop tower) and it will last for more than 5 years because you can upgrade on everything except for motherboard, iMac, Mac Mini, MacBook and rest of PC laptops aren't last for 5 years but PC desktop will lasts for very long time if you can change the motherboard in same case.

It's your choice to sticking with PC, that's fine and no one need pushes you to use Mac.

For me, I use PC for gaming and general at home, I own Dell XPS 630 with 2.66 GHz C2D, 2 GB RAM, 2x 500 GB HDD, GeForce 9800 GTX+ (upgraded from 8800 GT), 750 watts PSU and I will upgrade on some of parts later, also I own MacBook Pro for mobility portable, travel, heavily security threat websites and others.

For MacBook Pro, I have Vista under bootcamp and have use Vista for tethering via phone because setup on bluetooth for HTC via Mac OS X is pain ass and disconnect after several minutes, I prefer USB for tethering, more faster and keep connected than bluetooth.

Well, it's more debate, I think you could stand up and I'm sorry if you can't stand with debate.

Really, I don't know that.

That's why about Vista is more secure than XP but XP has IE 6 that's integrated with OS and very unstable after remove of IE 6.

Hello, it's time back to Windows 3.1 when IE isn't integrated, Vista should be reborn of Windows 3.1/NT 3.1.
 
No problem.

I already know from last week. Why Core i7 is bigger than core 2 duo because it add eight threads. Intel dont use thread since P4. So threads is back!
