Are iPhone 3Gs developing cracks? - Engadget

Some members from Mac Rumor confirmed that they have some cracks on black model, common visible cracks are occurred on white model.

Oh my boy, I would HATE to wait for replacement or fixed, have days with no phone and what's wrong with quality from China?

That cause me to considering about want return the iPhone 3G until Apple iron all quality issue out, I wish that iPhone will made in USA, Japan, Mexico (better quality than China) or Europe.
 
iPhone 3g designed by Apple. Nothing do with China. They just follow blueprint from Apple.

Apple SHOULD PICK aluminium!

Most macbook still have issue with cracks since ibook!

Macbook Pro and Macbook Air have no problem with crack due they are aluminium.
 
Then be careful and don't drop. Probably best to put a condom to protect iPhone.

Many of them got cracks since they don't drop it.

Read Mac rumor forum, you will get it.
 
Oh, who cares about crack? I still love iPhone 3G but quality must be seriously considered.

I don't have any good cell phone than iPhone and SK.

Yes, Steve Jobs doesn't think considerably of people. =D I'm glad I didn't get the 3G one yet because I saw one... 2 weeks old with everything, box... for BUY IT NOW for $500 free shipping on ebay!

I love Apple. I have 2 products from Apple: Macbook, a 2007 model and 1st generation iPhone 16GB. iPod nano, too but it's not mine, it just happens to be in the house I'm living in. I'm deaf, so would I need it? =P It belongs to my niece. I look forward to get another Apple product. I'm going for the Apple TV but right now, it is not good timing for me because I just moved to Pennsylvania. Need more time to settle down and get my room to what I wanted it to look like in my vision.

I had used iPhone for 3 weeks now and still no cracks, I use plastic shield to cover my iPhone.

Culd it be that it was very tightly sealed and temprature changes and atmospheric pressure cracks the iCheap plastics?

I agree Highlander that iAluminuim cover would be good idea but it'll iDents the cover. How about iCarbon fiber cover??

Aluminum isn't best as plastic, no matters, you can get scratch on aluminum.

You don't make any sense, BB use plastic as well, my BB died after several accident.

:lol: I suggested Carbon fiber cover which are harder and stronger than aluminuim.

AD guys poke fun on me for breaking things. Now, I'm not alone cuz you broke ur BB :rofl: you breaks them anyway. J/k
