Maybe he wants a say in packaging it more? In its present form, the Act insists on not being reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.
What's next, "postponing" the election?

And he wants to postpone the debate scheduled for Friday with Obama. I was looking forward to watching it.

Not permanently just while all of these hearings are going. There are a lot of lending institutions that are going under because of the many foreclosures in the home market. Lehman Brothers is like in 800 billions dollars in debt.

Postpone the election?

OK, I'm being silly... But, I see your point. I think this was just a way for McCain to grab voters and derail people who want to know more about Palin, and it sickens me.

McCain aren't good man, either, he has been damn attention, that compare to Bush in summer 2000, what's up with it? Just before PS2 launch day, I'm excited about PS2 release in 2000 but WHOA! Al Gore lost in election after several days of launch day and throw PS2 out of window.

Goes to show that McStupid is UNFIT to be the President of the United States because he could have done better DEBATING with Barack about the economy in front of the American people.

Suspending his campaign shows that McLame cant take the HEAT of politics and should have stayed out of the kitchen. Obama was right NOT to fall in this trap.

Reminds me of one of my fave Harry Truman-isms: "If you can't stand the heat, get the HELL out of the kitchen!"

This is way too easy.

Obama asked McCain to do a joint statement for the press, but McCain for some reason gave him the impression they'd do it... then went off on to make a statement by himself with the press.... later saying it wasn't time to make statements.. it was time to take action.

It's silly to suspend his campaign for one issue.

If elected President, will he 'suspend being a President' for one day because he needs a break?

One of the roles of being President is being able to multi-task on more than one issue.

McCain wants to postpone the debate because of a crisis of unprecedented proportions (next to the Great Depression) and Washington needs him there so he is putting aside politics for the next day or so.

What's wrong with them debating, say, next Monday?

Washington "needs" him there? Sounds grim.
Anyway, they gussied up Washington U. here and all the dawgs are running around with lipstick, ready for a good show, lol. Seriously, what if he decides to cancel Monday's debate? I dunno.

Yeah, if he needs to postpone the debate again, he'd probably have a good reason. I don't think he's shunning debating cuz that would be dumb politics, right? The current crisis is "calling for all hands on deck" as he put it. Obama should be there, too. Let's hope that a deal is hammered out that addresses the problem without unfairly doing in the taxpayers of this country.

Btw, good to see you back; where've you been, man?

The Republican Senate Majority speaker said that they didn't need both of them in D.C.
