Call for condom machines in schools

Mookie said:
Why not? Any parent will file the RO/PO against the young lad. He should know better and he will be kicked out of the school without having condom vending machine and might attend to the alternative school.

There is nothing wrong with condom vending machine at school.

RO/PO vs. Condom Vending Machine. Which do you prefer?

 I laugh soo hard after read your post... Sorry, your post makes no sense to me.

You should blame school, not children because it's them who build condom vending machine at school in first place, it makes children thought it's okay to have sex after break times...

Okay, your decision... Remember, don't blame children but school if it happened to your children. I feel bad for children who become teen. parents.

I see no problem if the teacher shows students about condom during sex education and show cons and pros... protection, safety, etc.

The 11th grade boy who deposited coins and received two rubbers in the boys rest room asked 8th grade girl, "Which scented rubber does you like sweet strawberry or French vanilla?"

She nervously answered, "French vanilla."

"Want to go behind the snack shack (at the soccer field).

"Ok"....

I mean condom at school. I think it´s not good idea to expose students to think use condom at school is okay... It makes them think it´s okay to have sex at school or break time...

I see no problem to communicate with my children about sex issues, sex education at school, TV or read magazines (not porn.) My children & I talk openly about sex issues... They have no problem to talk me anything because I´m open mind and have nothing to hide sex issues from my children but the problem is condom machine at school is not good idea...

Have condom machines at public like resturants, WC, clubs etc. is no problem but school?

That´s why I taught my children about sex issues an earlier before they hit puberty time.

I just asked my oldest son Danny (13) about condom machine at school... He thought the same as me as well.

I do not see any comdom machine at my children's High School. Probably, other town have those condom machines at the public school.

And the cause of this is a condom machine?

oh please!!

Teens will have sex, whether condoms are available or not. Most are too embarassed to go to a drugstore or supermarket to buy them.

I'd rather see kids protected, and not pregnant, than otherwise.

Don't you recall the chlamydia outbreak in teenagers in Georgia in the 90's?
The teens said they didn't use condoms because they were too shy to buy them in a public place like a drugstore or supermarket so they had unprotected sex.

Very true! That´s why we have condom vending machines at public restroom, resturants, etc... It´s understandable that they rather to use vending machine to buy condom but school?

I agreed with few people who dont like the idea abt Condom Machine.

I would rather to teaching my kids to be safe and such like that instead of having sex. Because I noticed more of Teenagers Girls get pregnant by young age... That's not good idea to having the Condom Machine in School, I dont mind if it's in the store or whatever like that BUT in school, that's not good idea.. :ugh:

Under California law, it's illegal to have condom machines at high school and illegal to teach about condom at all public school in California. It has been passed in several years ago. Teachers at my school are not allowed to explain about condom and sex safe or they can get fired. That's sad for us.

I can't beleive it's illegal to teach about sex protection/safety at public school in California! Oh my dear! The children has the right to know about sex protection/safety. No wonder why they become teen. parents or got diease because they didn't know anything about sex protection/safety. Yes I'm agree with you that it's really sad.

Parents are responsible to teach children about condom and sexual safety at home or join sexual protection program at hospital or other building, not at public school. If students that who bring condom to school and they will be in school suspenison for few days, get all 0 on classwork.

I undestand why they doing that because to protect from aids and getting a baby. But if they put it at school then all kids will think it is okay to have sexy anytime, anywhere. so I don't think it is good idea to put in school like high school but college is fine with me. It is important to teach kids what's right and wrong so they can learn about sex issues.
