Nope, I have not seen any around here. I guess in your case, they are distributed by BR (it is on the label)? If so, I will probably have to drive to the next county to get some.

It's distributed by independent bottlers but it don't mention about distributed by Buffalo Rock.

Does in Atlanta has Buffalo Rock? What about try at Wal mart?

What is different taste between Throwback Pepsi or Throwback Mountain Dew and Diet Pepsi or Diet Mountain Dew? What calories?

I have not seen it yet, but I will be looking for it.

There's no compare with throwback and diet because throwback has natural sugar and diet has artificial sugar.

It will better compare for throwback (classic) and regular Pepsi with HFCS.

Pepsi and Mountain Dew Throwback is just original recipe with natural sugar instead of HFCS like in prior to 1984 when soda companies made switch to natural sugar to HFCS, also it does same taste as Mexican Pesi because they use natural sugar.

You are old woman, you must remember about in 60's and 70's that where Pepsi has natural sugar but switched to high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) in 1984.

Pepsi throwback is just same taste as you did drank Pepsi in 60's and 70's.

While I was childhood life, I had drank old fashioned Coke from soda machine. This taste was very sweet. I favored it from soda machine. Today Coke is awful taste. I will try can of Pepsi Throwback to take test for tasting.

Yup, same with Sprite, it was taste so sweet when use natural sugar.

I have hard time to find Sprite with natural sugar, only usually to find at Mexican or Jewish supermarket but it was easier to find in Chicago but in my area, it's so hard.

Today, most soda are using HFCS and tastes so bitter after taste.

Old woman? :pissed:

I remember when I was a kid that both Coke and Pepsi seem to taste better.

I recently went over to Wal-Mart nearby and they do not have any in stock.

As for Buffalo Rock, they cover parts of the Atlanta area, not the city, itself. You can get the idea where in the area, they are covered by BR - map (click/move your mouse on to see the map). I will stop at Kroger, then Wal-Mart in the next county to see if they have any.

Yeah, both Coke and Pepsi tasted so good in the 1970s/eary 1980s. Now I can't say the same for the current Coke and Pepsi products. :(

You're a sexy young lady, Pepsi! With the soda in hand, you will be attractive!

Back on note, thanks for this info guys. I've never tried out classic pepsi, that will be interesting.

Where does it say is the contents of natural sugar? Is it referring to Sucrose or products of glucose from the beets? I'd be interested in finding out what is in it specifically.

:laugh2: I'm older than Pepsi!!!

This old hag remembers the good Coke and Pepsi of years ago and will look for the throwback Pepsi when it is available.

Bought some Throwback Pepsi at Walmart. At $1 for a single serve bottle it seems a little expensive.
In the freezer and will try it later.

I went to the next county and I could not find the products anywhere even at the two Wal-Mart SuperCenters. But when I was returning home, I stopped at the store (a mile from my home) to get fuel, there were some in the huge plastic barrell (or whatever that is called) so I got some. As I am typing this, I am drinking a bottle of Pepsi Throwback - it tasted kinda like the one I drank in the 1970s/early 1980s. I guess I will have to see if they have in cans - the plastic bottle they use tasted as if they used dish-washing detergent in it. :eek3:

They should put it in the glass bottles to be really authentic!
