Hi. I'm sourde and fed up with it all
 
I :said, "Hang on a minute; I can't hear you." I was doing a job for somebody and I needed to see lip movement. The point is: I could hear them but I didn't know what she was saying. I'm fed up with explaining to people. I'm fed up with it and I just want to take a rope up into the attic and put an end to it.
 
Learn ASL and you will be happy

I been having to explain to people for years that I am HOH and they need to talk a little slower and the person will start yelling at me. It get frustrating at time and I had told people on the phone that I am HOH and can't hear them and the idiot will say " I can hear you just fine!" WTF! How does that help me ??? But I never wanted to get a rope and end it all b/c that. There will always people that need to be 'to wait a minute ' , I had to tell my own mother not to talk to me when I had my back to her, to wait until I can see her face .
 
Seems he has a pity party going on....:roll:...no introduction thread...just saying he was tired of it all....:hmm:

Don't believe AD is the hotline for suicide.....besides, many members here have it a hell of a lot worse then he does.

Say, Sourde....read the threads, give us an introduction...no one is giving you the rope to hang yourself here!

If he's right about the human race then maybe the apes will take over one day. Keep an eye on them.

If he is right about the human race , maybe he is from the subhuman race someone posted about.

That isn't going to solve the problem dealing with hearing people out there. The majority of the population does not know ASL.

I feel for the OP. We all have been there.

What do you mean by that?

I'm an ASL user. I'm doing alright. Maybe I miss the specific reason about not solving the problem???

I t the OP said he was talking sick of tell people to wait so he could hear them so I would think he is talking about hearing people
