I can't move due to the whole financial situation and I don't want to move very far without having a job secured at where I am going. Right now I'm thinking of taking a job on the ATU campus in Russellville and moving up to Russellville or Dover if possible. A friend of mine said their are a few administrative positions open. I may apply. If I get such a position one benefit is free tuition.
God Parents are currently in Little Rock. Have been since before I was born, in the same house for the last 60 years.

Wow, I bet that will be quite a change for them! I have relatives in Little Rock and so far we've not heard anything from them about any damages to their property.

I learned that sometimes people are like a fish out of water. Not necessarily anything bad about that.

I need Independent skill class or life practicalities, big time.

I need to know what to look for in an apartment or a house
what investments to make
money managing skills
cooking (shit.)
critical thinking and advanced writing skills

I'm interested in taking classes like this in Summer while finishing up my general ed.

I learned my cat TinkerBell like Italian bread. She climbs into my lap while I have the bread and starts eating it. She won't stop climbing into my lap until it is gone. I only let her has 5-6 small little pieces that they don't even come up to a 5th of a slice. She will eat them, then go to the bathroom sink, turn on the water and drink. Then we have to turn the water off.

Agreed. Sometimes is creates a needed learning experience and makes the fish out of water a much better person.

Haven't tried any others except rye and she will not eat that. I have some pumperknickle in the deep freeze so I may try that. I just don't want to make her sick.

Learned there are different types of toning shoes not to mention styles.
Now I think I want to buy a pair or two.

Learned that my account has a mere $12 in it. Wonderful. If I knew I had so little, I might have watched my spending. I just never thought to check the balance. My job doesn't start until June, so I'm screwed for now.

I was pretty thankful. I had a little over $20, but I had to buy some groceries to bring over to a friend's house. I'm going to ask my parents for a little bit of leniency when it comes to paying them this month. *Fingers crossed*

Yeah, it's really been a hot April here in Florida. And so many wild fires in St. Johns County.

Lanapoo, since it is such a sensitive subject for you and you don't want to see opinions other than your own then perhaps you shouldn't have posted about it . you cannot avoid people's opinions from both ends of the spectrum.

We may hit 85 here this week for a day. That would be a record. I don't think record heat in SF i going to bother me much though....

I learned that it is May 2nd and I'm running the heater and snuggled under my quilt like it's January again. Unbelievable. Usually this time of year everyone is running around in shorts and flip flops. Today I saw several people wearing jackets. I was shivering this morning on the way to work. We are expecting lows into the 30s tonight.

A lot of farmers are expecting their crops to fail this year due to flooding. One farmer is estimating he will lose $35,000 in profits for his corn. His seeds are insured, not his profits. I hope our crops don't suffer the same fate, however our hayfield is completely underwater. We may have lost one cut, possibly two this year.

I learned at the vet today that small dogs can be fussy about things like their food ! And that they can jump up onto table to steal food! I found this out a few days ago when I brought myself 2 slices of pizza one cheese and the other veggies and put them on the table. I when to made a phone call and when I got back to the kitchen Marty was eating my veggies pizza on the floor!! He was very pleased with himself!

This is normal behavior for most dogs. I wouldn't worry, just keep a close eye on your food and your dog and the amount of distance between them.

The dog is obviously a health nut since he took the veggie slice!

I am having trouble finding a treat Marty like , I like to buy my dog healthy foods and treats but he did not like them! So I tried junk treats and Marty thought it was a toy to play with! It was that fake beef crap!
