You should check out SAC's sign language classes. They usually have a list of things coming up. First Friday of each month there is usually something at Lone Star brewery, or at least there used to be. There is regularly deaf bowling.. again the location and time would be known by people at SAC. I just remember it was on Sundays.

I don't know if you're interested or not, but the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) is having a convention in San Antonio in July 2005. I'm not sure of the dates as I can't afford to go.

Why don't you check with your local vocational rehabilitation or deaf support center for information?

One of our terps is headed to SanAntonio for the RID convention. Be prepared for a swarm of over a thousands terps at your doorstep. They will prolly have the Fiesta Texas Deaf day in July as well.

Smaht is right. The Fiesta TX Deaf Awareness Day is June 11. From what I've heard at school, there's NAD and RID events/conventions in South TX this summer.
